Facilities at Denmead Community Centre

We have a choice of facilities suitable for a wide range of leisure and community activities.

We offer a flexible pricing scheme for all our customers. Online booking requests will receive a quotation via email or you can call us to discuss your needs.

NB. Please note that the facility capacities shown are approximate and depend on the activity involved.

Each room has access to one of two kitchens, the use of which is included in the cost of room hire.

All rooms can be provided with chairs and tables.

Additional facilities are available for some rooms.

The Centre has wheelchair access to all rooms and a disabled toilet.

The entire Community Centre can be hired from £420.00 per day

Ashling Hall

Capacity: 80 people
Pricing: £21.40-£26.00 per hour

The Ashling Hall is a popular venue for fitness sessions, dance, parties, films and concerts.

The hall is approximately 16 x 6 metres and can accommodate up to 80 people.

Along with tables and chairs if required, the hall has a piano, and a sound system with induction loop.

Jubilee Room

The Jubilee Room is now available to hire and is suitable for fitness sessions and parties etc.

The hall is approximately 7.5 x 7 metres and can accommodate up to 40 people.

Tables and chairs provided as required.

There is also use of the Ella Bendall Kitchen.

The Barn Green Room is a very popular room for corporate meetings and training sessions.

This room is approximately 7 x 5 metres.

There is also a serving hatch from the adjacent Ella Bendall Kitchen.

This is also our library which holds fiction books and puzzles for you to borrow, and we ask for a small donation.

The Main Field is perfect for any outside event including fitness sessions, parties, fetes or fayres and concerts.
We hold our very popular annual Proms in the Park here out on the lawn.

For access to our toilet and kitchen facilities, we ask that you hire one of our rooms from the main building too. The room would then be available to use in case of inclement weather.

Ample parking.

The Upper Field is perfect for any outside event including fitness sessions, parties, fetes or fayres and concerts.
Also use of outside gym.

For access to our toilet and kitchen facilities, we ask that you hire one of our annexe rooms too (Anmore or Shrover) The room would then be available to use in case of inclement weather.

Ample parking.

Off site

Capacity: 50 people

Private hire of tables and chairs to be used off site.
Must be picked up the day before they are required and dropped back off by the customer the day following the event, and in clean condition.
A cash deposit of £50 is required, and will be refunded once they are returned to the centre undamaged.
