Each month (excluding August) on the 2nd Tuesday at 2-3.30pm there is a meeting for senior Denmead residents. 
Friends meet and chat over a cuppa and biscuit, then play a few games of bingo to try and win items for the store cupboard.

The fee is £1 for refreshments and £2 for Bingo (£3 in total)

This takes place in the Barn Green Room in the main building.

Waterlooville U3A Board Games Group - First and Third Monday 14:00 - 16:00

We are a friendly group who meet twice a month to play a range of non-traditional (Modern) Board Games, which require a mix of tactics and strategy. Some are fairly straightforward - and then reveal hidden depths! - while others are more challenging from the start - and then we develop strategies and tactics!

In some games, the players compete against each other, in others they are a team competing against the game itself. Some have a board, some have no board (card-based games), and some build the board as the game is played (tile-laying games). One or two modify the board as the game progresses.

We have Table Leaders, more experienced members who guide the players in playing the games, so everyone can enjoy the range of games.

The aim of the Group is to have fun with friends.

Better Body Club - Over 50's Dance and Tone - Monday 09:30 - 10:30

30 minutes of fun, easy to follow routines with a great variety of music from the 1940's to the present day, followed by 30 minutes of toning exercises designed to improve strength, flexibility & balance.

Watercolours For Improvers - Monday 10:00 - 12:00

The course is aimed at those with some experience who wish to improve their techniques, but it will also attract accomplished painters looking for fresh approaches and/or new topic challenges. The sessions are relaxed but encouraging.

The sessions include tutor demonstrations, useful tips, materials information, and practical help if needed.
The topics are different every week and diverse in subject matter. The student is encouraged to create their own 'take' on the topic.

This new class is meticulously thought out to introduce clients to the fundamental principles of Pilates while catering to those with joint or mobility concerns. It will emphasize gentle movements, core stabilization, and flexibility exercises, providing a supportive environment for rehabilitation and fostering a solid understanding of Pilates principles for beginners. 

Pilates is a low impact, relaxing mat-based exercise programme which helps improve balance, posture, core strength and ultimately help tone the whole body.

Firstly, we believe in something we call “Play not Push”. It means teaching football in a fun, pressure-free environment. We want to give children a positive introduction to sport as a whole, not just football, so they’re more likely to stay healthy and active throughout their lives.

Secondly, we believe football can be educational. Coached in the right way it can stimulate imagination and aid early development skills such as learning colours and numbers, following instructions and playing as a team.

It’s an approach that has bagged us numerous awards and helped us expand globally over the last 16 years. And like all our Kickers, we never stop learning. We’re continually improving and updating our classes, based on feedback and input from child health specialists as well as our network of over 2,250 football coaches worldwide.

Messy Hands Crafters - Once every six weeks on a Friday - 9:30-12:30

Once every six weeks this fun and friendly group meet from 9.30am until 12.30pm. 
The cost is just £15 for the three hour session and a £5 deposit is payable to secure your place.

Everything you need is provided for you in this group, and I always give a demonstration of a technique or a project. You can then make this or make something else using the supplies that I have brought with me. I bring stamps, dies, ink, cardstock and embellishments, all I ask is that you bring an adhesive of your choice.

Refreshments are always provided, along with plenty of fun, friendship and creativity, so come and join us, it would be great to see you there.
